One part of my research is to create code (java in my case) from test model. As suggested by my Sv, tried to search if there is a (simple and easy) way to do this. I actually have manage to create a code from my model but it is too rigid and don’t have enough flexibility in it. One of my group member has done this in 2001. He’s using XML and XSLT in his work. Now, in 2009, some one (their name is hard for me to pronounce, I’m sorry to the author) has created a way that is more efficient. So, check out the link:

I’m trying to write my provisional report and remembered that I can use automatic table of content provided by Office. Did a bit of searching because 2007 is way different from 2003. This is the link that you can refer to:

I also found two website that talking how to make a good report format. Check it out:

Got an error related to inconsistency in Marama (ya, after made a folder in eclipse). These are some of the reference that you can read to explain it:
What I do to solve it? I restart my pc and reload my running workspace. Not forget that before this step, I re install my working workspace with a fresh one. Ya, that really work but that is not a real solution.
Next, I try to create a simple swipe card program for opening a door. This will be used as my example of creating test from model (the model need to be redrawn as the meta-model changes again). I made the simulation by using console program. In doing it, I did a bit of search on how to read input from console. Take a look:

The topic that I’m working right now is “Creating Test Cases from Domain-Specific Visual Langugae using Model-Based Testing”.
My research is about how visual testing (in the sense of model) can help user to create their own test. There are a lot of tools out there that help novice user to create their own Domain-Specific Visual Language (DSVL). This is good but the verification and validation of the DSVL created is still done in a manual process and most of the user didn’t aware of it (and most of the time just ignore it). DSVL meta tools (i.e Marama) can sometimes be a little bit confusing and un-intentionally miss leading. What I’m trying to do is, to extend DSVL meta-tools capabilities from just application creation to a user acceptance test tool. Without have to learn new testing model language/rules, user can just extend their current DSVL model to facilitate/include a testing process. Selection of test and report in a helpful visual aid are some of the benefit. Furthermore, it is done automatically.
There, do you get it?

It’s very frustrating when you have spent 5 days just to install something that should have been working. Currently I’m trying to install the laterst version of eclipse (suggested by the wiki) with the latest stable version of Marama. Is it really that stable? Because I manage to find different kind of error every time try to install n run these two things. I’m tired of emailing for support and can’t wait to proceed with my work.
Maybe it’s true that testing is my life work. You know what they say about testing, “a true test will find error”. In my situation, I always manage to make error or accidently find the shouldn’t be any error version. Ah, what can I do? At this time, I’m waiting a response from my SV to copy his working version. I hope his in the office (and available).
